As part of their Harvest Festival celebrations, Tower House School generously donated food to the Roehampton Community Box. Additionally, Tower House Junior School have made Rackets Cubed their charity of the year!

On Monday 2nd October 2023, members of the Roehampton Community Box (RCB) team visited Tower House School to thank them for their generous donations, deliver a short presentation on the important service RCB provide to the local community and explain how a social supermarket operates. For the second year running, Tower House School students and families collected a range of items as part of Harvest Festival celebrations and kindly donated these to RCB.

We were amazed by how much was collected and we would like to thank everyone at Tower House School for their generosity and to Mr Peyton & Mr Lunnon for inviting us to present during their Harvest Assembly.

On top of this, we are delighted that Tower House Junior School has selected Rackets Cubed to be it’s ‘charity of the year’. Fundraising efforts carried about by the Junior School throughout the year will go towards funding Rackets Cubed programmes across the UK. Children from the Junior School learnt about the work that Rackets Cubed does in their local area, the different racket sports we offer and how money they raise will provide more opportunities for young people to play sport.

We would like to thank Mrs Hogan for her invitation and to all the staff that made us feel welcome on the day. We are looking forward to working together with Tower House over the coming months.
