Yorkshire Tennis Limited and Rackets Cubed are proud to announce a new partnership aimed at opening up access to tennis for primary school children across Yorkshire. Through this collaboration, Yorkshire Tennis will provide vital funding to support the delivery of Rackets Cubed’s innovative programmes in the region.
Chris Day, Interim Chair of Yorkshire Tennis Limited, commented:
“Our vision, aligned with that of the LTA, is to open up tennis and padel to more people across Yorkshire. This partnership reflects our commitment to growing the game by introducing it to new audiences and encouraging greater diversity and inclusion. By supporting Rackets Cubed, we are helping young people in underserved communities experience the physical, social, and mental benefits of tennis and padel – goals that mirror the LTA’s Serves initiative. We’re delighted to join forces with Rackets Cubed in delivering this important work.”
Jules Abbas-Silvera, Programme Manager at Rackets Cubed, added:
“We’re thrilled to partner with Yorkshire Tennis to expand opportunities for children through the power of sport. This partnership will enable us to reach more young people across the region –helping them grow in confidence, discover new skills, and unlock their potential both on and off the court.”
