Founded in 2016, Rackets Cubed is a registered UK charity dedicated to enhancing the lives of children.
Our school programme supports underserved children by providing enriching extracurricular opportunities, including STEM education, racket sport coaching, and a nutritious meal.
Our community programmes extend this support to local families, offering food provision, connections to local services, and access to a warm, safe, and welcoming space.
STEM Education
STEM sessions are led by qualified teachers who bring learning to life through fun, creative, and engaging activities. As STEM plays a vital role in everyday life, our goal is to spark curiosity and inspire a lasting love of these subjects in every child. Sessions often focus on key areas such as maths and science, with small group sizes to ensure each child receives the support and attention they need.
Our School Programme
Each programme supports 25 children every week across 24 weeks of the year. During each session, children take part in a STEM lesson, a racket sport session, and come together at the end to enjoy a nutritious meal.
Nutrition
Nutritious food plays an important role in supporting children’s behaviour, focus, and overall wellbeing. At Rackets Cubed, we provide a healthy meal at the end of each session, ensuring every child is fuelled and ready to thrive. This shared mealtime brings children and staff together, creating a relaxed space to socialise, connect, and build relationships in a way they might not usually experience. For many children, this is the highlight of the programme!
Racket Sports
Racket sport sessions are delivered by qualified coaches who combine skill development with teamwork, social interaction, and other essential life skills. There is growing evidence that active children achieve more at school and benefit from improved mental wellbeing. Each child takes part in an hour of structured coaching every week, supporting both their physical development and confidence.
