Welcome To Rackets Cubed

Founded in 2016, Rackets Cubed is a registered UK charity that delivers integrated STEM education, rackets sports and nutrition programmes. We work with Key-Stage 2 children in underserved areas. We currently support over 1,000 children per week across the UK.

STEM Education

STEM subjects are a huge part of everyday life and we aim to inspire children to love them. Teachers often focus on maths or science, and utilises smaller groups to support the children. The lesson is delivered alongside the sports coaching at the host site.

Nutrition

Nutritious food improves classroom behaviour and concentration. Rackets Cubed seeks to provide a healthy meal served at the host site after the racket sports coaching and STEM education. The meal at the end of the programme is often the children’s favourite part of the programme!

Racket Sports

There is increasing evidence that active children have higher school achievement and improved mental well-being. Each Child receives an hour of structured coaching every week. Our rackets sports include tennis squash, table tennis, badminton, padel and even wall ball!

Roehampton Community Box Hub

Our social supermarket in the heart of Roehampton run by local volunteers- supports about 200 families per week, not just with food and hygiene products but also signposting them to further help.
It is a community space in Roehampton.

Community Week

The Roehampton Community Week is a community-led initiative for the Roehampton area. We are a founding partner and act as a lead for the fund raising and finance, and are operationally focused on how we support the health and activity aspects.

Community Boxes

This is a National Programme in partnership with The Elliot Foundation to get surplus food out to families that need it and stopping that food going to landfill.
We support about 900 families per week through our partner primary schools across 18 sites.

Our First Padel Programme Launches

The programme, which began on Thursday (12 January), introduces children to padel, while school staff hold maths lessons in the clubhouse. The club’s chef provides nutritious hot food for the children to eat in the bar.
