In the spirit of Easter, Roehampton’s community came together in a heart-warming display of generosity and unity. Local organisations and RCB volunteers collaborated to organise a special Easter egg giveaway, it was eggcellent!
In the lead up to the Easter weekend, RCB staff and volunteers collected hundreds of Easter eggs from generous local street collections and organisations. These were then distributed to families visiting the Roehampton Community Box. In total we received over 200 Easter eggs to donate to our community.
Natalie Price our hub manager said “We wanted to create a sense of joy and togetherness within our community in the lead up to Easter. The donation campaign was a huge success and all of our families enjoyed a small Easter surprise!”
We would like to thank the following local organisations for their generous donations and continued support:
- Tower House School
- Ibstock Place School
- St Margaret’s Putney
- All Saints East Sheen
Thanks again to all of our volunteers who helped collect and distribute our eggciting Easter surprise to our families, we couldn’t have done it without you!
