Rackets Cubed are delighted to announce the award of a £450,000 3 year Sector Renewal Grant from Sport England.
This Grant will allow us to expand the number of integrated racket sports, (STEM) education and nutrition programmes to 75 sites in over 15 cities. Each program delivers one after-school session per school week (c. 25 to 30 weeks a year), to the same group of 25 to 30 children, consisting of one hour of cardio activity and rackets sport, one hour of maths / STEM Education and an evening meal, plus nutrition advice
We currently operate across multiple hubs in London, Birmingham, York, Nottingham, Leeds, Manchester, Hull, and West Mids. We have built a strong pipeline of over 50 sites at various levels of evaluation. Examples of hosting sites are:
- Universities; Roehampton, York St John, Hull, Birmingham, Nottingham Trent
- Private Clubs; Roehampton, Chapel Allerton, Northern
- Private Schools; Reeds, Ibstock Place
- Sporting Centres; National Tennis and Squash Centres, GLL sites in London and Manchester
